Strict protective measures are taken by the team at YAZA to curb the spread of Covid-19 and ensure the safety of employees, our partners, delivery executives and customers.

We understand the gravity of the current situation and how the pandemic is affecting people globally and we are very serious about taking every precaution. In compliance with government and WHO directives, we shut down our office and production facilities for 21 days. Now, after tea has been classified as part of essential goods, we have resumed business but only after taking the following necessary precautions:

  • Our facilities have been thoroughly sanitized
  • Only a limited amount of employees are back at work at a time to ensure social distancing
  • We have also strictly instructed that NO employee should attend work if he is doubtful of having Covid-19 symptoms or feels that anyone in his family has contracted it. They should resume work after getting a complete medical checkup
  • No biometric system is used to track employee attendance, it is done manually
  • Employees are required to declare their health status before joining work
  • Temperature checks are done regularly to ensure good health of our employees
  • Employees have been provided with hand sanitizers and proper facilities to wash hands at regular intervals
  • For their further safety we are also keeping check that no employee has a pre-existing medical condition, is pregnant or is over 60 years of age
  • We also ensure that our staff is properly equipped with PPE gear while handing over products to our delivery partners
  • Our delivery partners, the front line warriors in this war, have also ensured that they take all of the above mentioned (as applicable) precautions and continuously adapt theier methods according to current directives from government bodies and local authorities
