The name Yaza is the Buddhist term for ‘sitting during intensive meditation at the end of a long day’. It itself reminds you of the breather that you need to take in life from time-to-time. To just sit and reflect and calm your mind.
Our commitment as a brand is towards promoting a healthier lifestyle while also promoting our age-old traditions of using herbal products in our daily lives for the betterment of health. How Yaza Came Into Being
Yaza wasn’t born overnight. While it was officially founded in 2018, Yaza was actually in the making for decades. The seeds of Yaza were sown since her childhood perhaps, for Anila Gupta, the founder of the company grew up with her constant source of inspiration, her mother Dr. Sarlesh Gupta.
Dr. Gupta (Vice President, International Naturopathy Organisation, Noida), with her vast 30 years of experience in the field of Naturopathy and Yoga, has made immense contribution in spreading awareness about Naturopathy and curing diseases through natural treatments. She also ran a hospital for 25 long years in Kaithal (Haryana), where lakhs of people were treated though Naturopathy therapies and various herbal products made by her.
Anila Gupta grew up in this environment where depending on natural elements for physical well-being and spiritual benefits of Yoga were advocated, and was fascinated by the effectiveness of this lifestyle. Eventually she wanted spread awareness about the same, so that other people could benefit too. Her aim was to somehow rekindle the usage of these rich traditions, these natural remedies and therapies, but offer them in a form that is relevant to the 21st century.
This desire to benefit people’s lives on a deeper level by combining the advantages of Yoga & Zumba with healthcare products backed by Ayurveda, is what led Anila to form this company and put together a team of people driven by the same goals.
And so Yaza created a beautiful collection of various herbal and lifestyle products along with combination of services, that helps people attain a healthy body & calm mind. These products and services can also be beneficial in improving concentration, bringing clarity of perception, improving communication and building inner strength. Today Yaza has also branched out to fun lifestyle products that reflects on a positive outlook towards life. For this Yaza has a team of amazing designers headed by Co-Partner Sagar Jain (Founder of Ek Do Dhai), a renowned name in the field of Product Design.
About The Founder Anila Gupta
Anila Gupta is a Level 2 Yoga Teacher, QCI certified by Ayush Department, Morarji Desai National Yoga Institute (Govt. of India) and Art of Living Sri Sri Yoga Level 1, graduated from Sri Sri School of Yoga, Bangalore. In addition to that, Anila has attended many Happiness Programs and Advance Meditation courses from Art of Living International Ashram. In fact, Yaza products and services also take inspiration from the teachings of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, spiritual guru and founder of Art of Living Organisation, as they equip us with powerful tools to eliminate stress and foster a sense of well-being.
She also has years of experience in making herbal products, thanks to being constantly around her inspiration – her mother. She truly understood the power of Ayurveda after seeing amazing results first hand. And so she sought out to share this bliss with rest of the world through Yaza.
But before founding her company, Anila worked as a lecturer of Economics and Marketing for 5 years, until she decided to quit to pursue her passion for yoga and spirituality. She is also a licensed US based International Zumba Instructor.
ABOUT THE LOGO
The logo for Yaza is a fluid representation of the root philosophies upon which the company was built. The Muladhar Chakra forms the base of the thought behind the entire logo creation. The middle portion or the core of the logo, represents a sitting meditative posture where the base of the ‘V’ is equivalent to the base of the spine. This is the location of the Muladhar Chakra, where the origin of energy in the body happens. This also represents Shiva who is the highest form of consciousness and creativity. The core of the chakra is formed of inverted ‘Z’s and the petals made of inverted ‘Y’s. The four petals stand for Mind, Intellect, Consciousness and Ego and the shape that they form collectively represents the need for them to work together in harmony.

Yaza envisions expounding a holistic lifestyle as the way-of-life, that focuses on the balance between mind, body and soul, and realising that true beauty comes from within. To reach this goal, we believe that we need to take the edge off and make people understand that embracing spirituality doesn’t need to be such a serious business.
Ours is a world demanding constant hustle, where everyone is feverishly chasing their goals. In pursuit of our dreams, often, we forget the pursuit of happiness. We think that when we achieve what we want in the world, we will achieve happiness. But that is never the case.
Happiness is in the everyday things. It’s in stopping to smell the roses. It’s in the small things. Like in a good cup of tea or a cute fridge magnet that makes you smile. It is in living in a healthy body and mind. It is in nurturing our relationships with positivity. That is the key to sustaining happiness and peace of mind. It is important that we all make living a ‘healthier lifestyle’ a habit and not consider it a luxury. You can’t control what goes on in the outside world, but you can control what goes on inside.
